Guidelines for Management and Development of the Faculty of Business Administration
The management guidelines align with the four core missions to be consistent with strategies and tactics under the policy of “GOALS”:
- G: Good Governance
- O: Operation
- A: Attitude
- L: Loyalty
- S: Sustainable
- Good Governance: Strict governance principles must be applied, focusing on participation, legal compliance, transparency, responsibility, coherence, equity, efficiency, effectiveness, and reasonableness. Encourage member participation and unity within the faculty through independent thought in a democratic framework, non-discrimination, and equal treatment with transparency. Promote responsibility by assigning tasks so that everyone performs their best according to their duties, ensuring coherence by defining and summarizing the needs of the faculty members.
- Operation: Work processes should be streamlined, applying Lean principles to make operations more efficient and effective. Resources should be managed effectively to maximize returns, integrating information systems more extensively in work processes, and using internal control quality assurance systems as tools for serious management.
- Attitude: Develop a positive work attitude and change the mindset towards work. Positive Thinking involves perceiving and interpreting things in a positive way, like viewing the world optimistically. Design Thinking is a problem-solving approach aimed at developing innovative solutions with a user-centered focus. Critical Thinking involves questioning and challenging claims to explore new perspectives, leading to reasoned conclusions. Creative Thinking is the process of thinking in new ways, often based on related theories of creativity.
- Loyalty: Drive the organization with ethics such as “honesty, unity, and sacrifice.” Foster morale and motivation among personnel, promote unity, encourage loyalty to the organization, and create incentives for working efficiently. Build faith and confidence in the organization, leading to happiness and well-being in work, with a focus on selflessness and the greater good.
- Sustainable: The Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, aims to be a sustainable institution that progresses with society and continues into the future with stability.
